I had the privilege of going to camp electric to learn about the music business and take advanced classes on my instruments . In my piano class i had instructors such as grammy award winning artist Mr.TalkBox, Tony Hooper, and Alex Rivas teach me things like song structure and theory. My vocal classes taught by Tauren wells, Terrain, Riley Clemmons, and Aaron Cole had me learning about how to perform a song that resonates with the audience and using different vocal techniques for live and recording purposes. Rachael Nemiroff was my songwriting teacher where the class learned about syncing music, writing complete songs, and the power of words. I also had the honor of learning stage presence and performance form Tom Jackson. One of the last classes i took was lead by sound engineer Doug Gould who taught me how to run a live soundboard. Before leaving camp electric i was able to perform on stage

At SpringBoard Houston i sat in workshops and learned about the music business, songwriting, touring, advertisement, budgeting, photography, monetization, studio engineering, and the power of social media. My mentors i learned from in that program were Barry Coffing, Michele Vice-Maslin, Dale Penner, Vicky Hamilton, Ron Fontenot, Danny Jones, Sam Bregman, Darice G, 2am Ricky, and Joshua Dada. After the event i got to play in there festival in front of some industry wonders.

power2inspire ran by Ray and Vivian Chew allowed me to network and learn from industry legends such as Kim Burse, Bob Celestin, Dave Watson, Corey Newton, Park valley, Nisan Stewart, Ray Chew, Kevin jones, Jay.soul, Buda The Future, Mark Baston, and Ian Holder. I was in small group meetings with these people learning from there life experiences and i was able to asking questions regarding my own path in the music industry. I learned and experienced things in this program that you can only get by going into the Internship. During the program i was assigned with a group to create a song celebrating the 50th year of hip-hop. The project was to create the song and marketing plan behind it. We got to present and have our song critique by Naughty By Nature member Vince Rick, Kid Capri, Ray Chew, and Teryn Chamberlain

My first in studio internship was at Costello’s studios in summerville ran by Jordan Costello. I was learning from Jordan as well as the other producers in the studio Aasenmixedit and Chris Viera. They taught me everything i needed to know about production and recording. I made beats, learned and even had some hands on experience running a sessions. After a year and a half i went to summertown studios to help build and learn more about audio production form Aasenmixedit. I stayed at summertown studios to learn and develop for about 6 months.
